Excelling in Academic Standards
We offer a well-organized and effectively-directed program of
academic instruction which strives to meet or exceed the
requirements prescribed by state law. We seek to provide
educational facilities, equipment, and carefully selected materials
to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the instructional
program. We also provide auxiliary services as we are able to
supplement our educational program and to better meet student
needs.
Training the Whole Child
Spiritually-To see the necessity of being born
again by the Spirit of God by receiving Jesus Christ as personal
Savior; to realize that growth in the Christian life depends upon
fellowship with God through reading the Bible, prayer and service;
to understand that God has a purpose and plan for each life; to
develop the ability to find help from the Scriptures; and to sense
a responsibility for the lost which will result in intelligent
witnessing.
Mentally-To relate the various subject matter
areas with the Truth of God's Word; to discover and develop
individual aptitudes; to cultivate powers of critical thinking; to
learn knowledge and skills required for future study; to use
effective communication skills; to work independently and
cooperatively; and to appreciate the fine arts and develop creative
skills.
Socially-To manifest fairness, courtesy,
kindness and other Christian graces; to share Christian
responsibility as a citizen for the welfare of every group to which
he/she belongs; to develop an understanding, appreciation, and
tolerance of all men; to live in this world and yet not to be of
this world; and to see responsibility to be loyal to Jesus Christ,
home, church and country.
Emotionally-To think independently and stand up
for personal convictions in the face of pressure; to develop
aesthetic interests; and to develop emotional balance and self
discipline based on respect and reverence for God and all
God-ordained authority.
Physically-To develop a respect for the body as
the temple of the Holy Spirit; to participate in wholesome physical
and mental recreation; to learn proper care of the body; and to
experience physical activity and wholesome competition.
